PROVIS® is a ready-to-use dental cement for short term use. It is based on zinc oxide and zinc sulfate for the short-term sealing of a cavities. Prior to a planned root canal treatment or in multiple-visit endodontics, PROVIS® is used to securely obturate temporary intracanal medicaments. It ensures a bacteria-tight temporary closure of the cavity for up to 30 days. PROVIS® requires a moist environment (saliva) to cure.
